Jeongeun Yom, a collaborative pianist and vocal coach, has been praised for her ‘supple and flexible’ musicianship as an accompanist by Martin Kats, a conductor and an educator, and recommended as a ‘sensitive musician with the delicious ability to intuitively fall into step with a soloist providing a complementary, yet strong’ accompanist by Dr. Lyn Christie, a bassist and an educator.
Under the auspices of Four Seasons Arts, Inc., Ms. Yom has appeared in Oakland and Berkely, CA and Yachts, Oregon. As an Artist-in-Residence at Yachats Music Festival from 2003 to 2017 in Yachats, Oregon, she had collaborated with artists, Abraham Lind-Oquendo, Autris Page, Leon Bates, Mariana Green-Hill, Marco Granados, Elain Kreston, Troy Stuart among others. Her performance venues include Lincoln Center in New York City, Regents' Theatre at Holy Names University in Oakland, California, Embassy in Washington D.C. She had performed at Summit Music Festival at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York in 2014 & 2015, where she has been a faculty member since 2005.
Ms. Yom received her bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University, M.F.A from UCLA in piano performance and M.M Manhattan School of Music in accompanying.
