GENERAL SCHOOL POLICY
Students/Parents Commitment
Learning a musical instrument requires lots of commitment and self-discipline. At New York Music School, students are required to practice regularly (5 days a week). Parents are responsible to supervise and help students to complete weekly assignments. Required daily practice time varies per student age and experience, however, daily practice hours should exceed lesson times in general.
Student Recitals
All students are highly encouraged to participate in the student recitals to enhance their progress and experience. Some instructors mandate participation in school recitals as a minimum commitment.
