Praised for her charismatic stage presence and elegant musicianship, pianist Kayoung An has performed on many international stages. Her concerto performance tour with the Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie in Korea was reviewed as a performance that “penetrated deep into the heart, evoking an image of an artist painting on a canvas with a brush” (Music Review). Kayoung An has appeared as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Symphony Orchestra, ClM Orchestra, Phil-harmonians Orchestra, Amadeo Philharmonic among others. Her performances have been broadcasted on CogecoTV, KBS Radio, and KBSTV Music Commonground. She has also been interviewed by music magazines, newspapers such as Music Today, Music Journal (Korea), East Hampton Star and Luister (Netherland).
As a passionate educator for young musicians, she has taught over a hundred students of all levels since 2009. She has served as a fellowship instructor at the Colburn School of Performing Arts, and as a graduate Teaching Assistant at the Manhattan School of Music. She is currently a faculty member of the New York Music School, Manhattan School of Music (Precollege) and New Jersey City University (NJCU).
